2022 Tax Bills
The Laurel County Sheriff’s office and City of London mailed the 2022 tax bills on October 1st. If you did not receive your property tax bill please contact our office at (606) 864-2889 to verify your property tax bill mailing address.
Keep in mind that your tax bill is calculated using your 2022 assessed value. Your assessed value is based upon sales activity thru the end of 2021. Assessed values follow market prices. Sales activity occurring now will be considered for your 2023 assessment. The median residential sale price increased 14% in 2021 and increased 23% in two years. Per Bluegrass Realtors thru September, the median sale price of a single family home in Scott County is $285,000 or 8.0% greater than September, last year.
